1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Airport Transfers Taxi website (airporttranferstaxi.co.uk) and any travel booking made through it. By completing a booking you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
AIRPORTS EXPRESS TAXIS LIMITED (company registration number 16989024) provides online travel arrangement and tourism transport booking services. We are a travel company and booking intermediary — not a taxi operator, private hire business, or transport licensee. We connect you with independent suppliers who provide the ground transport element of your trip.
The contract for the physical journey is between you and the supplier fulfilling that service. AIRPORTS EXPRESS TAXIS LIMITED is responsible for the booking platform, customer communications, and payment collection as described below.
2. Bookings and confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation (usually by email) after successful payment. We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion, including for unavailable routes, incomplete information, or suspected fraud.
You are responsible for providing accurate pickup addresses, contact details, and flight information. Incorrect details may result in failed pickups or additional charges.
3. Pricing and payment
The price shown at checkout applies to the travel arrangement and journey details you entered. Additional charges may apply for extra stops, waiting time beyond any included grace period, route changes requested after booking, or cleaning fees for damage or soiling caused by passengers.
Payment is taken in advance unless you hold an approved corporate account with invoicing terms. Failed payments void the booking.
4. Cancellations and amendments
You may cancel or amend a booking by contacting us. Cancellations more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup may receive a full refund minus any processing fee stated at booking. Cancellations with less notice may forfeit part or all of the fare depending on whether a driver was already dispatched.
No-shows — where the driver arrives at the agreed pickup and you are not present — may be charged in full.
5. Passenger responsibilities
Passengers must wear seat belts, behave respectfully, and not ask drivers to break traffic laws. Smoking and illegal substances are prohibited. You are liable for damage to the vehicle caused by you or your party.
Children must use appropriate restraints as required by UK law. Inform us in advance if you need child seats.
Guide dogs and other assistance dogs must be accepted free of charge under the Equality Act 2010. Declare an assistance dog when booking.
Airport waiting: included waiting time applies after landing; additional waiting beyond the agreed grace period (typically 15 minutes at airports unless stated otherwise) may be charged at the operator's published rate.
6. Liability
We and our operators are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, industrial action, or other events beyond reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the fare paid for that journey except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Personal belongings left in vehicles are your responsibility. Contact us immediately if you lose property — we will help liaise with the driver but cannot guarantee recovery.
7. Complaints
Complaints should be submitted within 14 days of the journey to info@airporttransferstaxi.co.uk or +44 20 8432 0829 with your booking reference. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time, usually within 10 working days.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless you are a consumer entitled to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction under mandatory consumer protection law.
