Standard saloon boots accommodate two large and one small suitcase for many vehicles — but ski gear, pushchairs, and four large bags need an estate or MPV. Child seats are essential for legal and safe travel but are not always standard in every car.
The time to declare special requirements is during online booking or by contacting support immediately after. Last-minute surprises can mean the wrong vehicle attends or delays while alternatives are found.
Child seats and infants
UK law requires children to use appropriate restraints. Request child or booster seats in booking notes; specify child age and weight if possible. Availability depends on operator stock — confirm before travel for peace of mind. You may bring your own seat if you prefer, but tell us so space is planned.
Extra luggage
Declare non-standard items: golf clubs, instruments, wheelchair (folding), multiple large suitcases. We will suggest estate or MPV options with transparent pricing. Airport runs with shopping often underestimate bag count after holidays — book one size up if unsure.
Additional stops
Multi-stop journeys (hotel then office then airport) must be booked as such. Fixed quotes assume the route agreed at checkout. An unplanned detour may be accommodated at driver discretion and extra cost. Corporate roadshows sometimes use hourly hire instead — see our corporate blog for that model.
